IOPs for host and datastore

Post by marius roma »

I need to create 2 reports with the amount of IOPs generated by each single host to each single datastore.
The report should look like:

Report1:

Datastore1:
Host1: 100 IOPs
Host2: 150 IOPs
Host3: 80 IOPs

Datastore2:
Host1: 50 IOPs
Host2: 120 IOPs
Host3: 90 IOPs

Report2:

Host1:
Datastore1: 250 IOPs
Datastore2: 160 IOPs

Host2:
Datastore1: 70 IOPs
Datastore2: 130 IOPs

and so on…

How can I produce such report?

Hi Mario,

Am I right assuming that you'd like to know how many IOPS each host causes on corresponding datastores?

What you'd like to achieve by having this information? What's the use-case?

Thanks

It's part of a general project of optimization and rationalization.

Hi Mario,
It's possible to review the data in Veeam ONE Monitor. You need to click on host in the object tree and go to the "Datastore" tab. There you choose Chart Views: Datastore IOPS and desired interval.
As for the reports, there is no such a data there. If you elaborate on your use case, we will be able to work on it in future releases.
Thanks
