Challenge With VAW on Laptops
Does anyone know if a future release will pause/resume backup jobs when users disconnect and/or reboot? We have lots of issues with remote users on laptops backing up to our cloud connect repo...

yes, we plan capabilities to resume backups. I did some tests with a tech preview version and a 10min network disconnect worked fine.

What about laptops being offline during the backup schedule? Would they resume when waking?

for hibernate and sleep I could not test it because I run my lab in VMs. But it is planned, yes.
