NFS Datastore

Post by JamesNT »

Regarding the vPower NFS service on the mount server that is an optional (yet recommended) checkbox when setting up a repository, is this used at all for Hyper-V? All of our clients are Hyper-V only, no VMWare. And all the documentation I've seen so far is that this is a VMWare thing.

Hi James, you're right, vPower NFS settings are not applicable in Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

Foggy,

Thank you. I'm going to turn that off and get rid of the folders for it then. we need to move our offsite to a new device and this will make things easier.

We will very likely never have any VMWare clients.
