Backup to Tape hosted an a Win10 PC

Hello Everyone,

Is it possible to create a tape backup job on a remote machine ?
The Remote Machine is Windows 10 PC with a hba controller & an external tape drive.

Veeam Backup and Replication is hosted on a Server downstairs, and the Secondary Backup Job (Tape) should be sent to the tape upstairs on the Windows 10 pc.

Hello Jabi,

Yes, you need to install a Tape Server component on this machine. Once done you can control the remotely connected tape drive via Veeam B&R and use it as a target for your tape jobs. Cheers!
