Running out of tape library slots

Hi,
I have a Spectralogic T950 Tape Library and am getting very low on available slots in my partition. I know the easy answer is to buy more licenses, but is it safe to 'offline' full GFS tapes to make some room? Do all media sets have to be online. Thanks

Hello Dai,

It is safe. You can remove any previously written tape media and load it back when such tape is expired. Cheers!
