Hi there,
Does anyone have experience with migrating from Solarwinds Backup to Veeam, regarding keeping the retention of Solarwinds Backup ( in the cloud ). What is the best strategy to offboard data from the Solarwinds Backup Cloud platform ?
thanks !

Re: Solarwinds Backup to Veeam migration
Hello,
I don't have specifics on Solarwinds. But in general with any backup product change you keep both products for a certain time in parallel. The old one for old restores and the new one for now and future.
I never heard that you can import / migrate backups to a different product except: full restore and new backup
Best regards,
Hannes
