Restoring guest files?

I'm new to Veeam, so sorry if this is a stupid question. We're using Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 Update 4, Standard Edition. We use it for backup of VM's in a our HyperV environment (Windows Server 2019). We have a fileserver where I would like to be able to restore individual files inside the guest OS. When I choose "Restore guest files" / Microsoft Windows, I get a list of available restore points, but how do I restore individual files?

In the documentation, I see "Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager" mentioned, is an enterprise license needed to be able to do it?

Hi Jørgen and welcome to the Veeam community!

You can utilize Enterprise Manager partially with the Standard Edition.

You should be able to restore Guest OS files after the restore point selection.

Okay, where do I download the Enterprise Manager? I can see it on your download page.

You don't need Enterprise Manager to do the restore. In the wizard you're using in the main Veeam Console already, select the restore point you want to use for the restore and proceed on. You'll then get the Backup Browser window to open showing the content of that restore point so you can select the files or folders you wish to restore.
