Veeam backup job best practice

Hello all,

We've recently purchased Veeam and I am not creating backup jobs but I have a few questions about best practices that I couldn't seem to locate online.

Is it recommended to create a backup job for each VM (VMware environment) or would you recommend creating one backup job and add each VM to that backup job? I started to create a separate job for each VM but I suppose it can get quite messy when you have a bunch of VM's you wish to backup. The same can be asked about backup copy jobs. I wanted to create a GFS job with 4 one week backups and 3 one month backups. Would creating a single backup copy job be recommended?
