I had to restore a server with Veeam (running Symantec Endpoint Protection Management) due to a failed upgrade of the Symantec software.
All the restore points I am trying from Veeam complete succesfully, but when the restored VM starts it generates a BSOD with error: A critical process died
I have tried many things from the recovery command prompt: sfc /scannow, dism, bcdedit, chkdsk,...nothing helps.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Re: BSOD after VM restore
Hi Thomas,
I'd suggest to check periodically your backups by scheduling SureBackup job in order to avoid similar issues in future.
Thanks!
