Feature Request - Proxy during restore

Request:
If you have VMs in a job where you have manually defined to use a specific backup proxy server. Then during restore of those VMs Veeam should automatically use the defined backup proxy server for the restore.

Today during restore proxy selection is based on other criterias that often is not optimal.

Hi Magnus,

You can manually select the proxies that are available for a restore task while going through the Restore Wizard ('Restore Mode' step, 'Pick proxy to use' link).

For us in our environment and in our organisation it would be a big benefit if VBR could do this automatically.

Any update on this? This is an even bigger issue when doing restore from EM where you are not able to choose proxy.

No updates so far. As you can see from this topic, this feature has not been in high demand.

Looks like the only thing I need is to start using proxy affinity!
