Azure Blob Soft Delete

We use Azure Blob Storage as our capacity tier for Monthly Backups which are kept for 5 years. Would enabling Soft Delete on the object storage cause any issues in this scenario? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/ ... oft-delete

from a backup perspective it looks transparent to me.

But how do you plan to switch back to an earlier snapshot? It would be thousands or hundreds of thousands of blobs that you somehow need to revert. The Veeam backup file(s) is not one big file that you can "just revert".

I don't believe that it does what you expect it to do.
