Manual Active FULL Backup

Post by KevinMi »

Is it possible to force an Active FULL backup on a single object rather than forcing it for all the objects in a job?

I guess I would like to be able to something similar to the 'Quick Backup' only with an Active FULL instead.

Thx,

In theory you can explude the other VMs from Job, run the active full backup and then include them again. (Use the exclude button and do NOT remove the VMs from Job).
You should increase the restore points then by 1 for some time to not loose a restore point of the other VMs.

You can directly edit the job again while the Full backup runs to not forget it later.

Or you can use VeeamZIP instead.

VeeamZIP has as well the option to have a separate retention for the full backup... great idea...
