Morning All
I have a Hyper-V cluster which is replicated locally to the Veeam backup server.
I am struggling for disk space on the Veeam server, so have been going through and tidying up old files.
I found that the Replica for a couple of VM's had some old replicase from weeks ago, clearly not auto tidied up. I decided the best solution would be to clear them out and let it Replicate a fresh copy.
So in Hyper-V manager, I deleted the 2 VM's. I then deleted the corresponding files in the folders and re-ran the replication job.
Now it fails with "Cannot find replica VM. If it was deleted manually, remove it from the configuration using the backup console as well"
I have tried removing it from the replication job, saving it and then re-adding it again. Still same message.
