Re: Backup Copy job warnings "no up to date restore points"
Juan, with these settings, BC1 will start looking for the available restore points within 7 days back and forth from 8am on the day of its creation and start a new synchronization interval every 7 days. Please review the corresponding user guide section for more details. Thanks.

Re: Backup Copy job warnings "no up to date restore points"
Thanks. I just trying to understand how to apply the formula:
Time of restore point creation >= current time – synchronization interval
So if the restore point was last night at 8:00 PM, the Synch interval is set to 1 day and the current time is 1:00 pm, what values do I put in that formula?

I don't think additional adjustments are needed. This restore point should be processed by backup copy job, as it falls within copy interval. Thanks.

Re: Backup Copy job warnings "no up to date restore points"
Thanks for letting me know about the failure to do BackupCopyJob to the same repository.
The job was just sitting there for days telling waiting for restore point. I even upgraded to v8 for this issue.
There should be an error message that says that it can't do a backup copy to the same repo.

Re: Backup Copy job warnings "no up to date restore points"
Hi All. Recently had a new server installed and it's my first time encountering veeam. I'm having this issue with a backup copy job. I'm a mechanically biased engineer with very little IT knowledge so bare with me. We have a backup job that runs each day at 15:00 that does a backup to a NAS drive. We then also take a backup copy each day onto USB drives that are stored away from the server room, these USB drives are rotated daily. The server installer and IT expert told me to set the backup copy interval to every 1 minute. Keep getting the no up-to-date restore points available message. From reading this thread my understanding is that I should really have the interval set to 1 day. Would that solve the problem?

Yep, it will (in your case sync interval should be set to 1 day). Thanks!
