Command line interface
Is there a command line or scripting interface for Veeam backup 3.
I want to be able to copy the backup images to an offsite location and then automatically restore them.
Thanks

Re: Command line interface
Hello, at this time we do not have scripting interface for Veeam Backup.
Currently, we only provide capability of starting backup/replication jobs from command line.

Re: Command line interface
Hello Gostev
Do you have a description or an example for the command line. I'm actually searching a solution to restore a backup on a scheduled base. This I'd like to do in a batch via command line.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks for your answer in advance

Ritzo, it is possible to start backup/replication only via command line at the moment. Starting restore is not supported.

Re: Command line interface
is there a possibility to shut down a VM before backing up or take a replik?
Maybe execute a command in guest to shutdown database (Lotus Domino on Red Hat Enterprise)
and start it afterwards?
I am not sure, the Snapshot + VSS would work secure with Domino ...

Re: Command line interface
David, what do you think about using pre-freeze script for this?
