I would like to use Data Domain that is running 7.0 of their OS (software on the latest model hardware). Is there a compatibility list I can consult to verify it is supported?
I know Data Domain is backwards compatible with the last 2 revisions of their software (DDBoost), so I would assume that whatever DDBoost library is installed on the gateway should be in the 6.x range and hence not present a problem. I just want to be sure before making the investment.
Thanks.

Re: Storage Compatibility - Data Domain OS 7.0
Hi Steve!
You could find the list of DD OS supported versions here.
We support DD OS versions starting from 5.6 and the latest supported version is 6.2.
Thanks!

That was quick - thanks.
No 7.0 though Do you think support would make a best effort? My experience tells me that Veeam is pretty good about this sort of thing.

The correct link for the latest Veeam B&R version (9.5 U4) would be this one. As for DDOS 7.0 in particular, then we plan to officially support it with the upcoming v10. It doesn't mean it doesn't work with the current Veeam B&R version though since it is based on the same DDBoost SDK version, which is supported by DDOS 7.0, but we haven't run any specific tests against it.
