I'm looking to do nightly backup to cloud, and I'm told what I want to do requires version 10 of VBR.
Is that the same for AWS?
Or, does AWS have the ability to backup directly now?
Thanks,
Rich

Re: Is AWS same as Azure as far as needing to wait for v.10?
Veeam Backup for AWS is a solution that natively protects EC2 instances. If you are looking for doing backups of your on-premises VMs and sending them to an S3 backup at night, then this is completely unrelated to this product, and yes you indeed need to wait for VBR v10 with this use case.
