Restoring Veeam Backup from Tape - Slow

I have a full reverse incremental backup file on tape - there is no issue with the speed when writing to tape but when restoring I am getting 80MB/sec and it is taking 12 hours + to restore the image to a local repository.

Are there any settings I can change in order to speed this up?

Is it restoring to the same disk as it uses for the backups? I had a similar issue when restoring to a USB drive we had connected to the Veeam server because of lack of space. It was USB2, and much slower than we had realised.

It's an IBM Tape library - the drive is ULT3580-HH7
