Hi!
How do you guys do a full restore of a VM with point in time (latest sql translog) ?
I see risk is that after the VM is online, Veeam will start SQL service and take it online before before latest SQL translog is applied?

May be full VM restore in isolated environment with a further point-in-time database recovery might be a way to go in your particular case?
You can take a look at this example of staged restore which allows running executable scripts before recovering VMs to the production environment.
