When using proxy's with NFS direct mode enabled, running JOB's with vCloud Director objects it seems not using NFS mode (only NBD) at all.
While using JOB's with VM directly from VI it uses NFS mode correctly.
Is this a limitation of Direct NFS mode or is this related with vCloud/EM?

The backup mode is independant from the vCD/vCenter/ESXi. Can you please create a support ticket and upload logs of the 2 job runs? Please share ticket number here according to the guidelines.

Additionally, please make sure that your VMs meet these requirements to be backed up with NFS mode.

Right, it is very likely that the VM that can not be backed up by DirectNFS has a Snapshot present.
