moving a vm from instant recovery to production

Post by AJ83 »

Hi!

I have mounted a vm with instant recovery and redirected virtual disk updates. Later i powerd off the vm, committed the snapshot, and storage migrated it to production storage.

What do i have to do Now, i have the machine running in production, can i safely unmount it from Veeam, or will it kill the VM?

Hi. You should unpublish VM in Veeam Backup console now. Thanks!

I safely unpublished the VM, in Vpxclient it did say it deleted something from the redirection location, while the snapshot was gone already. But it seems to work like a charm, thanks!
