Just a general question if the result i am getting is expected.
Running V10 RTM configured with Azure Blob storage on SOBR repo.
General VM backups copy to Azure Blob storage as expected.
However the new NAS backup job going to to the same SOBR does not transfer any data up to Azure.
Is this expect and NAS does not support the capacity tier storage?

Your assumption is correct. Capacity Tier does not support NAS-backups this time.
However, you can configure object storage as long-term repository for NAS backup policy.
Thanks!

Not to jump to far in the weeds but can you briefly explain what you mean by "Long-term" repository for NAS backup? Is this a setting i missed somewhere?

Re: V10 RTM | NAS backup to SOBR with Capacity Tier
Tucker,
NAS backup job keeps recent NAS backups in a regular Veeam backup repository on a short-term retention (for example, last 7 days). These backups are used for all operational restores, which are normally done from most recent backup of course. Additionally, you can enable so-called "archive repository" for long-term storage of older file versions, which are no longer covered by your short-term retention. For archive repositories, we recommend object storage.
