Bonjour !
As you can read, I am French (nobody is perfect), so my computers are localized in French.
We use a Linux server to backup on RDX or LTO our NAS servers.
They contains vrb files created by Veeam B&R.
We have also created a disaster recovery environment based on Linux to extract and restore Vm on Vsphere via SFTP or pick a file in a vmdk with 7zip.
Everything is OK, but we have discovered a bug in the Linux version of Veeam extract utility, he only works with the en_US.utf8 localization.
So when opening a bash box, you have to type first (solution finded by the Veeam support) :
export LANG=en_US.utf8
export LC_ALL=C
If you do not, extract aborts with this message :
extract: loadlocale.c:130: _nl_intern_locale_data: Assertion `cnt < (sizeof (_nl_value_type_LC_TIME) / sizeof (_nl_value_type_LC_TIME[0]))' failed.
