I also got an answer from QA: version 1 (currently available) also works for AOS 5.11, but is not fully tested.

Yes. Veeam Backup & Replication V10 can do that. Veeam Backup & Replication V10 is a requirement for Veeam Backup for AHV 2.0.

Veeam Backup & Replication V10 is available via support today. Or you can wait until general availability (next week)

Can anyone please tell me what "AHV v2" is? I mean...it sounds obvious that it's the second version of AHV but I cannot find any information about it in Nutanix documentation. What am I missing?

So I cannot upgrade to v10 until Nutanix AHV is supported...may I suggest the next time you release a major version that you ensure all hypervisors are supported? Nutanix is eating into the market...

I understand that you are not happy that you cannot upgrade. Please understand, that we will not delay the VBR release for VMware and Hyper-V (99% of our customers) to wait until Nutanix support is finished.

As much as I understand that the AHV product is only 1% of your client base, a bit more information and consideration would have saved me quite a bit of time.

This being online: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/va ... yment.html made it seem like I was going crazy. The plugin mentioned there (needed to deploy) can't be found anywhere.

So I uninstalled 10.0 and installed 9.5.... Then I couldn't download the license file for AHV 1.0 on the portal anymore (just didn't show up as in 2.0 it is licensed through the VBR server) yesterday... Today I called support and the option to download the file had returned... sneaky!

Anyway, quite excited for the new release, hoping some clunkyness of 1.0 is fixed in 2.0. It definitely reads like it, so I can't wait to try it out!
