V10 CopyJob with different Incremental Settings

Post by Marc.H »

Hi,

if I remember correctly in V9.5 it was possible to have a primary Backup job on Reverse Incremental Policy and the Copy Job on "normal" Incrementals. It looks like that this is not possible anymore. I cannot find any setting to control this on the copy job. Has that be done on purpose? For me it was very good to do reverse incremental on the primary storage as this was a fast storage and normal incremental on the second storage - as this one is a cheap slow storage not handling the IOPS for reverse processing every day.

Regards
Marc

There are now 2 types of Backup Copy Jobs. Periodic Copy mode is the one that will work as before.

Backup Copy is always "normal incremental", regardless of what which of those 2 modes is selected.
