Edit VAW "Free" from file instead of console

Post by zadrian »

I know this may sound weird....but sometimes I have issues loading the Veeam Agent for Windows "Free" gui on Windows 10 Professional, especially via RDP (from home to work lappy)...especially when I notice errors on the previous day backup task.

Then although the whole portion of "at the following events" were unticked...I got (the no backup every 4 hours part) :
Schedule -----------------------------------------
Schedule: workstation
Daily at [10:00 PM]
If computer is shutdown at this time: [backup once powered on]
Once backup is taken, computer should: [shutdown]
Backup no more often than every [4 Hours]

Is there a way to open some xml file to see or change backup job settings ? Some settings would be in some config files ?

"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe" "backup" "0a46f203-76ba-45fd-9804-88f61cd1fb03"

There is Veeam Agent Configurator working with xml based job settings, however it is not available in Free Edition - it goes with Workstation and Server editions.
Consider an upgrade or use of Community Edition.
Thanks!
