It sounds like, based on the description in the What's New Document, that the new features around Instant VM recovery are VMWare-only? Is that the case? Any chance we can expect any of these features to come to Hyper-V, particularly the instant recovery of an individual disk

well, instant recovery of physical windows machines existed for Hyper-V since some years... so we are delivering things for VMware that existed for Hyper-V already
So in the end, it seems that the only thing missing is the individual disk instant recovery (as you mentioned). Take your request as noted!
