Hi,
is there a way to get a RESTORE OPERATOR ACTIVITY for File Restore?
We Need to restrict sensible file restores. For example HR-Departmements. So, what is the best way to do this? Backup Encryption might work, but a Little more practical would be good.
A Kind of self Service Roles, like in the Enterprise Manager would be the Best, in my opionion. So that the HR-Departement is able to restore its own files.
Thanks for any ideas.

Re: File Share Restore Reporting Questions
Hello hschimpf,
Enterprise Manager fully supports role-based access and you can define a restore scope per user account (i.e. allow specific user to perform file level recovery for the specific file share).
Cheers!

Re: File Share Restore Reporting Questions
Perfect! Thank you. I was confused because i did not expected that "allow restore" feature for guest files is also used for fileshares. great.
