Not sure if this is possible, but it came to mind the other day. Instant volume restore to vmware or hyper-v for VOLUMES. This would help greatly in migration of data, or restoring to a new DC/file server, etc. Usage cases are endless. With both VMware and Hyper-V having disk hot-add capabilities, I'd think there's a *chance* this is remotely possible.
Sorry for the long-winded phrasing. this just literally came to mind after doing some migration work the other day with Veeam.

Re: [Feature Request] Instant Volume Restore
What about Data Integration API in v10? This works for any platform at all, not just VMware or Hyper-V.
By the way, v10 also support Instant Disk Restore (but for VMware only).

Re: [Feature Request] Instant Volume Restore
Was looking for the ability to Instant Restore a Hyper-V VM disk to a different VM, and have it essentially merge in, as instant restore does today but only for the whole machine. Does v10 do this today?
