No Access user Event causing the SQL Server disk to full?

Post by albertwt »

Hi People,

Can anyone here please assist me on how to fix this issue properly?

Image

if not, is it possible to delete the specific type of events from the SQL server database like the above.
I need some help in the SQL code if there is any.

Thank you in advance.

HI Albert,

Just to make sure I understand what's going on here > do you see your SQL Server volume being filled up quickly just because of this event? How often do you see this and why do you believe this is the event causing the problem with free disk space?

Thanks!

Hi Vitaliy,

Yes, I need to know is that because of the ESXi server cannot be accessed by VMware Vcenter ? which is simple issue to fix by typing on the password.

Or this issue can also be fixed by deleting that specific alert or muting that specific type of alert in that specific VM.

Well, I would suggest fixing this issue in the first place. Check out the IP addresses specified in the alarm to understand what is causing this authentication issue. Deleting this single event will not free up much space, but if you still want to do that, then please contact our support team so that they could guide you through the script.

OK, so in this case is the issue caused by VeeamONE cannot access the server with the IP address 192.168.15.4?
Is that correct as per my understanding, while the 192.168.2.4 is the Vcenter.

If 192.168.15.4 is the IP of your Veeam ONE server, then verify that all credentials (including the ones that you possibly set to monitor processes and services) are correct. This should help!

On a side note, if you want to lower the size of the db, feel free to adjust the retention policy settings over here > Retention Policy Period
