performance differences between 2012R2 and 2016 for "get-vbrjob"

Post by insearchof »

I am running Veeam B&R 10 on a windows 2012 R2 and a windows 2016 Datacenter Server
On the Windows 2012R2 I am using powershell version 5.0 and get-vbrjob -name "my job" works great
on the Windows 2016 server I am using powershell version 5.1 and get-vbrjob -name "my job" takes a very long time.

Is there an issue with powershell version 5.1? if so which version works well with Veeam 10.

Thank s Tom

Can you a support ticket for this issue? Wondering cause to investigate this problem further we will need to check your debug logs. Thanks!

I tried but was unable to. Not sure why.

Anyway

Is there any documentation that shows which versions of powershell Veeam B&R version 10 supports?

This should be documented somewhere

Thank you

Unfortunately, there is not much we can do without seeing your debug logs and infrastructure. So, we would appreciate, if you try to re-open ticket. Thanks!
