Retention session history configuration

Post by PhilVM »

Good morning,

I have a minor but annoying problem: When trying to reduce the time of retention for session history to 1 week it is not saved permanenty in the B&R console.
It will switch back to the standard (12 weeks) again after purging the old entries (or some of them). Is there a simple solution to that issue?

The case ID is: 04103411

Thanks for your support. :D

Hi Phil,

If the UI switches back to default values, then only support can tell you how to retain 1 week only. They might be able to give you some script or a hotfix, if this is confirmed as a bug.

Thanks!

Hello Vitaliy,

I got the responde from the support that the Enterprise Manager will overrule this option when using it. I've checked that and voila: Configuration in the Enterprise Manager was not set to one week. I have changed that with the result: Also 1 week in the B&R console.
