expiring savepoints on deleted jobs

Anyone know what happens with existing savepoints when the job has been deleted? Is it necessary to manually delete those savepoints?

Hello Bracy,

Retention policy is checked at the end of each job run, so If you happen to delete backup/replication job, then you should take care of existing restore points manually.
