Mount Point Backup

Post by easen »

Hello,

I am configuring a backup job for a mount point (/test/backup). When the job runs it backs up the entire /test mount instead of just the backup subfolder. Is there anyway to do this using the "Volume Level Backup" option or do I have to use the "File Level Backup" option?

This is a Linux Physical machine and I am running Veeam V10

thanks in advance

Hello,
I did the same with /mnt and /mnt/testbackup and it backed up /mnt/testbackup when I chose to us a volume backup -> mount point backup

So yes, you can do it with volume level backup in general, but it seems there is something specific to your setup.

Best regards,
Hannes

Are you creating the backup job via the agent or via VBR?
