Dear All,

Please Share solution

Recently Ransomware attack on my server and attaches HDD also infected and Veeam backup file format change.I have change extension of file but file restore point showing unsupport VBM format.

Hi Sarvind,

If your backup files are already encrypted, not sure there is a way to easily fix it. Maybe our support team will be able to assist with VBM file recreation, though chances are low. To be protected from this kind of situation in the future, it is highly recommended to have a copy of your backup files. For example, you can consider one of your cloud and service providers as a secondary target for your backup jobs.
