How to handle Server 2003-Scripts with VBR v10?
Hello, I am testing VBR v10 and I like it.
The only Problem is backup of Windows Server 2003 VMs. I am fine with crash consistent backup, but there should be executed some pre- and post-scripts on the 2003-Machines. Before v10 I was able to do it by "guest processing"->"Application-aware processing"->"Scripts" and Veeam automatically copied the scripts from the VBS-Server to the 2003-Server and ran it.
Is there is possibility to make it with VBR v10 and Windows Server 2003?

Pre and post-jobs scripts might be a solution here. Within the script, though, you will have to implement the referenced logic yourself - connect to Windows Server 2003 VM, run necessary commands and so on. Thanks!

Thank you. I hoped there is a more easy way, but seems I can't get over it:)

Just a thought, but if you use VMware quiescence, doesn't that automatically trigger scripts if placed in a specific location?

It's clunky and as I understand it you'll need a unique job that does Vmware quiescence, but shouldn't this work?
