I'm a bit confused how tape job will behave in this scenario:
My source job synth full its scheaduled to start at 03:00 saturday and will finish arround 12:00.
GFS tape weekly is scheaduled at sunday, with GFS Scan at 00:00.
In this case weekly tape job at sunday should backup .vbk from saturday, or it will waite for sunday incremental job that will start at 03:00, and will create synth full on tape from it?

Re: GFS - Synth full, how tape job will react?
Hello,
I think it's worth trying to check "Process the most recent restore point instead of waiting" option if you don't want to suspend tape job until today's backup becomes available.
Thanks!

Keep in mind that with V10 tape job will be much faster backing up synth full to tape then vbk!

"Process the most recent restore point instead of waiting" option should do a trick. I'll made some tests and share results.
