Veeam Reporting - Datastore IOP Report Wrong

Post by pjw2020 »

We run a Hyper-V cluster with 3 CSV volumes.
I am trying to report on the top 20 VMs for IOPs on a per datastore basis.
The report...
HYPER-V CUSTOM PERFORMANCE > Business View Objects > Volume1

Object Type > VM
Monitor Subsystems > Disk
Metrics > IOPs

This Shows "VM-01" of having top IOPs. This VM has 3 VHDX drives - one in each CSV volume. The VHDX that is experiencing high IOPs is not in Volume1, it is in Volume2, so it shouldn't be listed.

Surely this report is wrong!
Anyone else spotted this?

Hi Paul,

I have quickly taken a look at this report in our internal labs and do see the same behavior. Can you please open a support case so that our team could take a closer look on the issue?

Thanks!
