Veeam on DataDomain

Hi,
I have DD860 as a Veeam backup target.
I need an advise on logistics of my backups.
I wand to keep 4 weeks of backups on DD appliance and then put monthly backups on tape.
But, I do not want to put everything from 4 weeks backup to tape, all I want is a full current backup.
Are any ways doing this?

Please search the forum for tape for existing discussions on tape backup logistics, examples of scripts and approaches (depending on tape backup product) to copy only the latest full backup, etc. I am locking this thread down to avoid duplicate discussions. Thanks.
