Restore a VM but powered off

Howdy to all,

is it possible to restore a complete VM to antoher node of a cluster but powered off and then switch the running of and start the restored w/o hazzle?

Yes, you can restore VMs without having to start off being turn on.
There is a checkbox in the Summary Section that gives you the option to have it powered or not after restore

Right there. Also take a look at the option that allows for quick restore of a VM to the original location using CBT - might be the one that fits your scenario.
