Veeam Explorer for Exchange

Post by stewsie »

Hi

I am backing up a number of physical Exchange servers using the Veeam agent and have carried out some test restores. Is there a way to restore items in the state they were when backed up? I refer to the email state read or unread. I can only see options to restore all as read or unread and each option simply restores emails in the state selected rather than the state they were in when backed up.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

We will always restore the state as it was at the backup time however there are extra restore options which can be used.

My colleague who I was carrying out the testing with said all mail items were restored read as long as I didn't select the box to mark as unread. I will carry out more testing and check
