Hi,
we are using Veeam V5 with ESXi 5 to perform reversed incremental backups. The fullbackup speed is about 60Mb/s thats fine. But the incremental backubs have also only speed about 60 Mb/s. Using Veeam V4 wit ESXi 4.1 we got with the same setting several Gb/s for the incrementals. It looks like Veeam isnt using CBT and transfering the whole disk although CBT its enabled.
Some Details:
VM to Backup: Sever 2003 R2 x64 with 2 disks with total size of 1,4TB
Synthetic fullbackup file: about 700GB (lasts 7h30min)
Rollback file: about 20Gb (lasts about 7h)
The VM disks are in the new VMDK format which comes along with ESXi V5
There is no other Vm on the ESXi or to be backuped.
Although there are obviously just 20Gb of changed Data the incremenntal backup operation lasts as long as the full backup operation.
Is there any known issue regarding this?
Thanks in advance for any help
