I am trying to create a file level backup job for a server where we only need a few files and folders backed up.
I know I can select file level as the job type, but then once you get to the select objects part of of the job you have to manually type each directory (not sure if you can type the direct path to the file here).
Is there not a way to create a file level backup by actually browsing the server and selecting the actually items you want backed up?
It really seems like there should be a way to do this, but I don't see how.
Thanks,
Justin

Re: File Level Backup of Windows Server
Hi Justin,
What about to try file share backup job and to specify folders in this step of the job creation wizard?
Thanks!

Re: File Level Backup of Windows Server
I have not tried that yet, but I will look into it.
It's not specifically a file share I am backing up.
There is just multiple files and folders I need to create backups for on 3 servers without doing a full system backup.
Of course I can manually type in all the directories, but thought it would be nice to visually browse the server and select the files and folders needed.
