Turn on Immutability

Post by ober72 »

Hi Everyone,

Can we turn on immutability on an existing SOBR which is already in use? Or would can this be enabled only on a brand new SOBR. It does seem to be just a radio tick button which would hint at being able to simply enable this (as long as you have S3 object lock configured on the S3).

Thanks

@ober72 the immutability needs to be enabled on the bucket at the time it is created. So you can add a new capacity tier target to your existing SOBR. But you can't enable immutability on a pre-existing capacity tier target.
