Replication - Current vSphere license or ESXi version prohibits execution

Post by nguyendot »

We are fully licensed Vsphere/Vcenter 6.0U3 Essentials Plus. Licenses were validated in vCenter for both hosts AND vCenter and also reapplied the keys.

Randomly yesterday our replication job started giving those errors for all VMs. Backup still works fine for all VMs/hosts.

Case# 04309081

I've rebooted the backup server but the issue persists.

We are not using a free version of anything. It's all licensed and paid for, and current.

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Your setup sounds okay. I can only suggest to please continue working with support.

Best regards,

I remember there was a bug on the VMware side that did not reported the licensing correctly at the API. Our support team can help I think by opening a support ticket with Vmware.

Why would backup work but not replication?
