'Only serializations of exceptions is supported'
Case ID: #04330786
Having a new issue with a job and can't seem to find much online or on the forums about it. The error message is pasted below,
'Error: Only serialization of exceptions is supported. The type "System.Collections.Generic.ObjectEqualityComparer`1[System.Net.IPEndPoint]" from "mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" is not an exception part.'
This is a new error in regards to this job (and one that I've not seen before personally). Job usually succeeds with a warning regarding 'one or more source networks may be mapped' which I'd fixed on some other jobs, but if I recall correctly this job was a bit stubborn to my fix and still threw the warning. I wasn't too fussed however as the job was still successful.

Re: 'Only serializations of exceptions is supported'
Hi Kieran,
Thank you for the detailed description!
It doesn't seem to be a common issue.
As far as I see you've adviced to update .NET Framework on the affected machines. So please keep working with our Support team.
Thanks!

Hi @gtrspctr,
please also open a support ticket.
In this case our Support team will be able to dig into the logs and check your exact situation.
It's a technical issue and there is no general advice for such situations without checking at least the error message from the logs.
Thanks!

Hi Bleddyn,
please check if your .NET framework on the affected machines requires an update. I see it solved the original case.
If it does not help, please open a Support ticket.
Support team would be able to check your logs and figure out what happened in your case.
