Netapp ontap

Post by steri »

Hi.

i get a failure in a snapshot based job for netapp.
One VM said failed because

Code: Select all

Error: VM XXX does not meet requirements for storage snapshot based jobs: its virtual disks are not located on supported storage
Another One said success but Failed to build target multi-home info for VM MAIL-2

I have created a new job for this two vm's to test. The original Job said only Job has failed. See logs for details.
without any reason. The Log said nothing whats wrong

Any idea?

How many disks does the affected VM have and are they all located on the same datastore?

Are your disks placed on a FlexGroup volume? This is not supported by NetApp for any processing that Veeam does.

Hi,

Can you please describe the layout of the VM on the ONTAP datastores, and which protocol the datatores are using? Anything unusual about the VMs or the environment? All virtual disks reside on the same ONTAP cluster? Thanks so much.
