Hello folkls,
We need a new backup repository to save our backup on prem, for about 6PB . What would be your choice?
The source would be backup from 100 ESXi servers.
1-DataDomain?
2-Exagrid?
3-Object storage? Minio?
4-Traditional block storage?ReFS
Looking forward to hear from you.

Re: Big repository recommendation
Assuming your retention policy is 3 years or less, I'd recommend general-purpose servers such as Cisco S3260 or HPE Apollo 4510 with ReFS or XFS. Thanks!

Hi Anton,
what is your suggestion for RAID configuration? RAID 60 with max 12+2?
Thank you in advance

Re: Big repository recommendation
Yes, I believe RAID60 is the most commonly used configuration by our Enterprise customers.
