Hello Khan,

That list is pretty much a summary of nworks features :D
So I am sure we can meet all those requirements.

I'll be responding to your email directly.
Thanks!

Hi,

Which nWorks Monitor or Rule would detect/report on the status of an ESX's NTP service?

Cheers

Hi Simon,

we have a Rule 'nworks vCenter: NTP daemon stopped'. This feeds through NTP status from the Host via vCenter, and raises a Warning alert.

Hope that answers your question!
Cheers

Thanks for the prompt response.

Is that new in nWorks 5.7? I can't see it in the 5.6 management pack, nor see it refereed to in the 5.7 release notes?

To answer my own question, looks like the "nworks vCenter: NTP daemon stopped" rule became available in 5.7

Hi Simon,

Correct, this Rule is new in 5.7.

I'll double-check which versions of vCenter it supports.

Thanks!

Hey Guys,

I can't find anything referencing NTP in our new CHM. Is this still valid?

Hi

Yes, we still capture this event, but in v6 it's being done by a generic rule "Veeam VMware: vSphere Host Warning"

Thanks.
