Sync cloud back to local

Post by kewnev »

Hello All,
I have set up a Veeam B&R server with SOBR that has a performance tier local backup and a capacity tier using Wasabi S3. It is going well.

I would like to convert the disk that the performance tier is on from NTFS to ReFS. I believe it can't be converted without data loss. I was wondering, would it be possible for me to reformat this disk to ReFS, and then afterwards sync the cloud tier back down to the performance tier, bringing the restore points back?

Many Thanks!

Hello,
did you already check the "copy to performance tier" button? https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100

It does what you want: copy the files back to performance tier.

Best regards,
Hannes
